Well clearly all those renters should stop wasting all that money and just buy houses. You don't have to be RIGHT in the city centre you know, you can buy 15-20 minutes out where it's affordable.

I left software over a decade ago, but was recently chatting to a mate who is still in it. He told me that since they forced him to start using AI his productivity has gone to 10% of what it was. He explicitly stressed to me that yes he did mean reduced TO 10% and not BY. He works from home and now spends a lot more of his days doing home improvement projects.
