Fan Duct

During a scheduled super nothing to do with me meeting today I decided on some art's n craft's,

What we have here is a single piece, high fibre, ceral box, neatly folded and glued in place, fan secured with 4 M3 nuts and bolts. Fan is a 24v recycled from a cheap and broken inverter/arc welder.

I'll be running the fan on 12v, and lining the bottom edges with tin foil to protect the cardboard from the heat of the portable oil heater, the idea being that moving some air over said oil heater should keep my shed/office more evenly warm.

Last Meetup this year

cb400 thats been a hassle lately, one stud pulled out of the case, causing a leak, another leak in the similar spot happily turned out to be sealing surface and not another stud, then it ate both coils one after another. but now its good for a holiday to spain, owner will take a mechanic with him (i.e. my dad)

I think you guys like guzzis?

This guys pull ups and spots my purple and teal bike, like the spiderman meme, both of us were like "it's liek this for the wife/daughter!"

One of my dads other cb450's, but this one is a CL style.

gs1000, old special thats been kept in a timewarp condition, not sure who owns this now, but it belonged to a guy from Medaza cycles

was all over this, cb400n, rg125 front forks, love the use of top clamps for foot hangers

Midweek Meetup

. For a damp evening we had some bangers, 500hp katana, not sure what the gsxr made, but both serious racers. Obvs there is no racing in Ireland right now, so take the race bike to the pub?

This VFR was so clean, I would never have taken it out of the sitting room.

Struck up a conversation with owner of this, I've a 2MA that need some light work, was trying to wrangle spares out of him while he was trying to wrangle spares out of me :) anyway made a new friend.

Norton Featherbed

Same guy who owns the matchless g50 I took some pics of last month, brought this over to the shed to improve the brakes.

That's my dad myself and my office gut getting the italian master to work with the british caliper.

I was so geeked out about all the details, I only took a pic of the gear change lever, quaife six speed box behind it well.

Bike did 147mph at it's last race.

Eacaped the house to go look at bikes and talk crap about bikes, found this matchless g50 IOM racer, 1 of 3 apprently but I forgot to ask what made it that rare.

Well used v-rod and a trx850

Modern stuff I liked

Bikes of my era I was drooling over

And some grom's I parked my Dax next to.

Test n' Tune

I was missing the track, but without a "proper" bike what were we to do?

Yeah go on the grocery getters, just the kick in the butt needed to get the above gold pitbike ready after not getting finished over the last two years, only beakdown was the shock coming undone, even the knobblies were good enough! my purple Dax didn't miss a beat, and after an hour and a half of track time we were both also beat.

(Alright to cross post like this between groups?)
