I see people having a good to great experience with NVIDIA on Wayland. I lack that ability, I can never get my PC to run well on Wayland. (using the propriety drivers) hoping the new GSP firmware and the improvements to MESA-Nouveau + NVK fixes my issues. even if their are teething pains. because of how unusable it currently just is for me. course if I had the money, the easiest fix to make Linux usable for me is to buy a AMD GPU. FYI, I have a 2070Super. It is a consistently bad experience on it, with the NVIDIA propriety drivers.

I don't know what that author is on but 2023 npcs looks better by quite a bit. though watching the video I think I prefer the higher saturation of the 2022 landscapes. course with global illumination that will vastly change depending on environment. it just looks washed out, but in no way bad.

I'm currently on Fedora, but likely will be switching to OpenSuse. I've been looking at to stop distro hopping and make a home for myself finally. (I've only been using Linux on and off for the past 13 years.)

What ever comes with the distro I am using at the time. I don't require anything specific. Although I've stopped my distro hopping. So what ever OpenSuse uses by default. Well, currently on Fedora trying it out. So what ever that is.

I expect Wayland cinnamon will be good enough to use by next years Ubuntu LTS. And the default in the next LTS after that.
