I’m having an issue/not understanding how to use the search feature when looking for new communities. Is there a way to search communities using key words or do I have to enter the exact community and instance? It seems like most of the time I get the “nothing to see here” message.

Nice! I’m glad too see those communities start to pop up on Lemmy. Those were my most frequented subs on reddit but I haven’t been on it since Apollo shut down. That’s really the only thing I’ve been missing so I hope more users from those subs decide to move over here.

My gym only has kids classes on Saturday but Sunday is an open mat day. I don’t typically train over the weekend but tomorrow I’ll be hitting the morning class.

I went through all the juvenile belts as a kid and tried to get back into BJJ a few different times as an adult although I never stayed consistent. I recently moved and found a great no-gi gym by me and I’m hoping it sticks this time.

I’m also a gen z that doesnt like IPAs. The bitterness is one aspect but besides the terrible flavor, the main reason I don’t like IPAs is because theyre so heavy. It’s not a good beer for sitting by the pool/beach/bbq because it’s not refreshing.

I’m sure other people have different philosophies for when they go to the bar but when I’m at designated drinking/party place I want to be able to drink consistently throughout my time there, so a lighter beer is better for that too instead of one IPA that makes me feel like I ate a whole loaf of bread, I can have a few lagers and maintain a solid buzz the whole time without feeling like shit and having bitter IPA breath.
