Another one of those pesky little oversights where congress isn't anyone near passing anything on, AFAIK. Maybe in 4-5 years if we're lucky.

But sometimes this can be uncomfortable... Are you able to just confidently walk up and grab it or do you loudly first ask "DO YOU NEED A HAND?!"

Most of the time this makes them super uncomfortable, which is great! Better them than me. But other times they're way too okay with it.

Ummm... how the fuck did they decide that was okay?

Dammit man, this hits close to home. I'm from Missouri and we used to talk shit on Arkansans all the time. Now I've lived in Arkansas for over a decade and can confirm... there are some sketchy parts. Lol, I need to escape.

I've tried 2 different avocado variations and both were delicious!

That discrepancy hit me as well. How are the seats determined?

I had the same problem as a kid. My cousins had beaten it and given me some tips, but I could never figure it out. I also tried again a few years ago on an emulator but didn't have the patience to make it very far! Fun game though.

This hit me like a brick to the face earlier too. I'm relieved to see plenty of others share my sentiment!

But who else still jams out to 30 secs to mars every now and again?

That's exactly where I took my argument with 2 coworkers last week. I tried multiple methods to appeal to empathy or logic, but both failed. So I just declared that we aren't changing any policies with our discussions so maybe we just focus on issues that have a more direct impact on our lives, like worker's rights, healthcare, environmental issues, etc.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I'm American and hadn't read/heard about that part of Canadian politics in awhile, so I appreciate the response!

But what if there's no suppression of competition, just guardrails put in place through legislation? I wouldn't be opposed to that.

The only live shows I've watched in years is sports. Lately some NBA playoffs have been entertaining, but the ads are insufferable. I've been adverse to ads for a long time but especially the gambling ones are just ridiculous.

If you haven't been exposed to this shit in awhile, then yeah, I could totally see it being overwhelming. Hopefully Steyer can't just buy enough name recognition to win, but sadly that seems to be one of the biggest drivers of turnout.

Amen to that

Hadn't heard that... just read up on it some and wow. Horrifying!

They keep fucking doing that to placate their bases and it's so annoying.

It shows extra resolve and commitment to me. Probably attracts more eyeballs, which never hurts.

Steyer can keep throwing millions at the race. I like Porter but she's got a long road to go.

My wife and I made the decent walk at least 6-7 times while we were there for 10 days 2 years ago. The fried onions and sauces they put on make the hot dogs so delicious! One of multiple solid reasons to visit, for sure.

Those shows aren't going anywhere. They'll be waiting for your viewing pleasure whenever you're ready! I was late to Game of Thrones at like season 5, so still had time to catch up. I hope Succession keeps going and Severance is really fucking good right now...

I've been getting into nature shows lately outta nowhere. There's something soothing about it, but they're also informative. I'm just rolling with it

Yep, they come in from random races all over the country. It would be great if I had the money to throw around if I liked the candidates, but that's just not happening. I started spamming Stop a few weeks ago and thankfully the texts have dried up. It was ridiculous!
