Why is such a tunnel needed?
My guess is that it will be a “nature highway” so migratory species can cross over the road

Wait, is Unity allowed to just change its fee structure like that? | Confusing, contradictory terms of service clauses leave potential opening for lawsuits.
I have been a developer professionally and exclusively using Unity for 17 years. Yesterday, I installed Unreal Engine. I’m doing as many tutorials as I can this weekend.
I have no faith now that there will be enough studios willing to use Unity to sustain a career based on it.

In what universe does Linux run on 99% of mobile devices? Android is nowhere near 99% market share, and iPhones are not and never have been based on Linux.

United Farm Workers endorses Biden, says he's an 'authentic champion' for workers and their families
What do you know, you support unions and unions support you.
The UAW visit by Biden is one of the rare trifecta of savvy political maneuvering+the right thing to do + good for the nation as a whole.

Web3 is here and it's glorious
Trying to claim the term “Web3” is a futile battle. It is already widely understood to mean crypto and blockchain. If I see a job posting that says the company is built on Web3, I know immediately that the job is built on scams and grifts without having to ask further questions. Web3 as a term is ruined already.
For this to work it must be a different term than Web3. Maybe “Web 3.0” is different enough?

Biden pardons all offenses of simple possession/use of marijuana (even those not yet prosecuted)
Title is wrong: NOT future. Only “on or before the date of this proclamation.” (I don’t think it’s possible to pardon people in the future)

Lemmy.world is being "attacked" with random communities

That’s not an “inherent flaw”. It’s a flaw that currently exists in Lemmy, but one that could be easily remedied with a patch that adds a “report” link to the profile. An inherent flaw would be one that is difficult or impossible to mitigate due to the concept of Lemmy.

“This unique parcel stretches behind six homes”
If you really hate someone who lives in one of those six houses, this lot affords you many opportunities for mischief.
I can’t imagine any other reason for this to exist.

He’s not even the main character, he’s a sidekick and not even the most prominent of the sidekicks really. (Despite the fact that he appears first in many character lists for the movie, the protagonist is Searcher)

collisions deaths
Without normalizing for the number of these vehicles on the road this data is not meaningful. No matter how much I appreciate the depiction of cars as murder machines.
There were zero children killed by Titan submarines in the last twenty years, we should clearly take inspiration from this beacon of safety!

If we are guessing that each roommate has and mostly drank their beverage of choice, then while the overall quantity isn’t too bad, the guy who likes Blue Moon may need to rethink his habits.

Actors are not expected to be knowledgeable about weapons. If they are required to check their own weapons, they would not do so competently, and may come to incorrect conclusions. This could add incompetent confusion about the weapon safety to the situation, and that’s bad for safety.

No, that would actually be worth the money. This sounds like a subscription to feel like even more of a loser when you still fail to get laid.

So unnatural!
The Bible doesn’t say that about homosexuality, that’s an invention of modern Christianity. It says it’s an abomination.
Although, I’ve heard (I haven’t looked much into it) that the translation often cited for homosexuality being an abomination actually refers specifically to homosexual child rape, not homosexuality itself.
