It blows my mind that in my jurisdiction dogs need to be registered, up to date on shots, leashed, kept on your property. Cats are a free for all. They can be left outside and are free to trespass. I use Unraid as my host OS with a Windows 11 gaming vm. If you say at my computer you would never know it's not native. I can shutdown/reboot windows and it doesn't affect any of my home server applications, including a mastodon instance.

If you buy any EV besides a Tesla you are a fool.

1. buying a car is not an endorsement of the manufacturers CEO
2. Tesla charging network is unbeatable (such as the fact that it works)
3. every other EV is first-gen and unproven. Tesla battery degradation is known because there are 10+ year old cars on the road with hundreds of thousands of miles. There is no significant loss of range in the normal lifespan of an automobile
4. Tesla quality sucks but so does pretty much every manufacturer
5. the price is the price of a Tesla. You know exactly what you will pay before stepping foot in a "dealership". There are no market adjustments and shady BS.
6. since they are an ev only manufacturer I trust their service center 1000x more than a dealership whose techs work 99% on ice vehicles.
7. Elon musk might be a dumbass but he isn't going to intentionally compromise the safety of Tesla vehicles. It is bad business sense if it will lead to recalls, safety concerns, loss of mind share, etc

My opinion will change in a few years when Ford/gm/Hyundai/Kia/vw get another generation under their belt. I certainly wouldn't want to buy an EV now that doesn't have a "Tesla" nacs connector now that pretty much everyone has announced they are adopting it.

Yeah, unfortunately the beastly impacts are M18 so different batteries than the smaller M12 tools. They do make an awesome M12 3/8" Stubby Impact. Anything bigger you need to bump up to the M18 line.
