Peso slumps as US fails to dispel devaluation fear | Buenos Aires Times
I'm from Argentina, and this was more than obvious for us here, since the last bailout didn't work, the president has no platform whatsoever other than pretending to be in control while we deindustrialize at rates similar to those of Ukraine, and all he really wants is to get just a few more representatives in the midterms so that he can pass an executive order to end workers' rights and resist it in congress. The money is not for us, it's for Bessent's vulture friends who own our debt.

'South Park' to Skip First Planned Episode After Charlie Kirk Murder
Reality has become so similar to South Park that South Park is basically just a news outlet at this point. Same thing with The Onion.
Still love them tho. BRING BACK CHEFF

The Sex Recession: The Share of Americans Having Regular Sex Keeps Dropping
The largest uptick happens right after the 2008 crisis. Hmm I wonder if we can infer a relation between workload and leisure from this.

How long will it take for the moon to drift far enough away from earth that the lunar month extends by a day? Or two days?
The lunar month is not dependent on the distance to earth by itself. Rather it's a consequense of the relative positions of earth sun and moon and how they evolve through time. So an adventurer in your campaign would not be able to identify the, say, epoch just by noticing the odd lunar calendar. At least not without more context. Also I'm pretty sure the long term drift of the moon would be towards earth rather than away from it, even if these kinds of extrapolations are not reliable since they presume that things we've observed in the last milennia or so will hold true for several many more to come.
What you can use reliably to hint at a distant future using astronomy is the expected evolution of the celestial chart, caused mainly by precession and the movement of the sun along its galactic orbit, or the spectrum and apparent size of the sun, since it will turn redder with time. It depends on how far into the future ou want to go. But then again nobody is going to notice without appropriate context.
Good luck in your campaign! I'm a dm too I love worldbuilding.
