for the Reddit refugees, do you also feel a bit heartbroken?
What's happening to reddit right now actually opened me to a lot of possibilities. I started learning about the fediverse, what FOSS apps are, etc. I'm actually grateful.

Comfort games?
Breath of the wild has some chill situations, just going about in nature, or walking through the villages. It can also go absolute bonkers when you're unprepared.

Tell about some times you've played games in ways that were clearly not intended by the developers. :)
Sequence breaking in all of the Metroid games. Though in the latest title (Dread), the developers have anticipated that players will try to sequence break and get upgrades/abilities earlier than expected, EG killing Kraid using morph ball bombs in a cutscene.
Funnily enough those same devs did not account for a certain sequence break that will show you killing another boss with an upgrade that you possible do not have yet (Corpius with the charge beam).

For everyone new to Lemmy, how are you finding the experience?
I've been lurking pretty much on reddit with my 12 year old account, but the new experience here is pretty much ok. The usual teething problems on how to find what is manageable.
