[OC] alley along the danube

This is literally two rows of trees next to a river, you couldn't get further from a forest without removing the trees. I get not liking plantation forests, I don't either, but this is just not that. Its also right next to a fairly natural part of the Danube wich is quite beautiful in its own right.

Yes, planted for aestetics, also the home of dozens of bird species, because its poplar trees that very much belong on the waters edge. As far into a millennia old city as this is you really aren't going to see many "natural" trees.

Sure, let's not keep this culturally protected 200m long stretch of trees. This image massively compresses the distance between these trees, surrounding this area are large parklands with much more nature-like planting, so no thank you this one place can stay.

She wants us dead 🙃

I kind of hate to have to say this, but its ok to still like the stories. If you have to buy them, buy used, otherwise pirate. I can't possibly be the only one who was launched headfirst into allyship by the HP fandom and the more people that happens to the better. As always, JK can go fuck herself.

One of capitalisms biggest tragedies

Honestly, it's not just capitalism. Education is anywhere from free to really cheap in Germany, and we still don't get many people from poorer families into uni.

I see the main problem here as a sort of class divide between people with university degrees and people without. For example: if you work in a public library and don't have a uni degree you will never get more money than salary level 9 (4k/mo) just having a degree and not doing any more/different work more or less instantly puts you on 12 or higher (6k+)

This I think understandably makes people without uni degrees kind of resentful of those who do have them. And if you grow up resenting a certain group of people you are much less likely to join them.

So, no. "Just" getting rid of the cost won't magically get these people into higher education.
