Quindi sì, creando una community lì ti stai fidando dell'istanza, se un admin preme cancella allora sparisce tutto. Nessuno ti impedisce però di hostare la tua istanza, o di migrare su un'altra istanza di cui ti fidi. Va detto che a differenza di reddit (che prende decisioni impopolari per guadagno economico, non perché sono pazzi) non vedo da che idee di guadagno economico possano essere spinti gli admin delle istanze su lemmy, quindi non vedo perché debbano impazzire. Al massimo possono cessare di operare le istanze per i costi elevati, ma gli utenti a quel punto sono liberi di donare/fare backup e trasferirsi.

Decide la massa, se feddit impazzisce e si disconnette da qualcuno, è libero di farlo, come sei anche tu di iscriverti in altre istanze, o le altre istanze di disconnettersi da feddit. Comunque hai modi di continuare a utilizzare ogni community, a differenza di reddit che se decide di chiudere r/Italy buonanotte.
