I installed Windows 10 in a virtual machine...man, this is straight up dystopian.
Yeah, Windows sucks. I recommend the LTSC version for minimized tracking. But even then, I had to use third-party software and hacks to minimize it further. I don't ever plan to go back after switching to Linux.

Ron DeSantis condemned as Florida removes sociology as core college class
Reply in thread
I left college ages ago, but my sociology course is the one I remember most. I took it as a throwaway elective, but it ended up being my most loved course. The things we learned are applicable to everyday life, and articles like this show how even to this day, it's still paying dividends.

Linux hits 4% on the desktop 🐧📈
Awesome news. I plan to make the full switch to Linux next week. League of Legends is the only reason I use Windows. Next week, they are adding Vanguard, and that'll make it impossible to play on Windows.

Not really. It depends on how much you value privacy. Vanguard is a kernel level anti-cheat. I refuse to give anyone unlimited access to my computer. As such, I'm quitting the game and Windows.

Which is why I'm voting third party. I meant, why should I care about your opinion? It doesn't matter either way. Trump and Biden are both awful. Neither will get my vote.
