Boston probably had somewhere around 50k people. Don’t hear the news media talking numbers or even showing the full crowd. Figures.

Unfortunately it seems like the Democratic Party is doing their best to co-opt the movement with messages like votes, fight with the judiciary, and use politics to obstruct. Look I get it’s the right thing for them to say…

But let’s make sure a populist movement pushes the party way to the left like the much much smaller tea party movement did to the right.

Origin Story

I mean people don’t seriously acknowledge it but good on Sesame Street for semi real sticky representing a homeless bum on a kids show. Also Bert and Earnie, but most people give them credit for that one these days…

This is a funny take I haven’t heard. Maybe it’s a bit true.

People I talk to seem to have little understanding of Trump policies. Like it’s mostly projection.

One person I spoke to with a Trump pin said these two statements: “I don’t like where the country is heading everything is expensive. The government spends too much money”… “yeah we got to support Ukraine, Russia would not have invaded if Trump was president. Russia needs to loose and go home so we can end the war”

… like okay? And Trump will help any of this how, as a lap dog to Putin who blew up the budget and raised taxes on those making less than $500k?

These people vote for people who tell them what they want to hear and project the rest… you know morons.

‘Will I ever retire?’: millennials wonder what’s on the other side of middle age

A bunch of anecdotes and questions. No answers, historical context on change from defined benefit programs to 401ks under Raegan/Clinton, and no policy prescriptions.

Or hey, how about calling out the growth labor productivity and corresponding lack of growth in real income, if you want the even slightly radical in your take on the concentration of power in capital… but no

Useless fear-mongering article- not wrong though

And you get to avoid traffic!

As someone who worked night shifts for a little - it’s really not healthy.

There are studies showing that type of disruption to your circadian rhythm can take like more than a decade off your life. After doing it for a while I felt it impacting my well being, not being really awake, hitting the bed and falling asleep immediately but not deeply, super high base load of stress and heart pain.

FWIW , I’m talking working 11-4/6am type night shifts, not the late night retail/bar shifts which are tough in their own right

Kyle Rittenhouse criticized Donald Trump. So conservatives said he's transgender.

I’m quoting you here:

“As a European that lived in America briefly (ten years) I was very shocked when I encountered the gun culture there.”

“I voted for Bernie in the 'primary, I voted for Biden and I'm voting for Kamala. Trump is a piece of shit insurrectionist that should not be on the ballot.“

How are these two things possible without you being a liar?
