Coolest thing may be that they harvest soft shoots, then stab them into to bottom of the the surrounding waters, and even if it all freezes over, they can go get their stores and have fresh shoots to eat, even in deep winter.

Because I have a "thing" about having those little floor-crunchies on my feet. Floating flooring is nice, but every little thing lays right on top of it.. So instead of constantly dusting the bottoms of my feet off on my calves, I just throw on some house shoes. Freshly cleaned floors excepted.

I'm a fuckin O's fan. Tanking is by far the worst thing in baseball. Some steps have been made to reduce the benefit of just losing your ass off for draft picks. But, even worse than those hard tanking years, it hurts the most seeing a really great farm-raised team not getting supplemented with some good pitchers because of the refusal of Angelos (owner of the Orioles) to spend any real money.

There's a rumor rolling around that maybe David Rubenstein is interested in buying the team, Baltimore native, hell of a lot of money... But unknown in the willingness to spend category. Owners that don't spend are far worse for this great game, in my opinion.

Superstar teams usually don't work either, mind you.. But not putting money into a team with the talent level of the O's in the past couple years? That's just straight fucked.

Putting the steel toes right up the ass of day ten! Sleep still about 50/50 for the most part, but I'm still sober! I'm giving it another day today. Somewhat groggy, but nothing anywhere severe as most all of my hangover days were. My body's beginning to re-adjust, and I'm really, really okay with that.

I will not drink alcohol with you all this day!

And on a side note: today marks two solid months of sobriety for My Girl! So fuckin proud of that sweet-assed motherfucker!!

Day 14. Let's get at er! Still hanging in here! Busy morning today, but that's just fine with me. I think my damned old body is starting to adjust to sobriety! Somewhat, anyways.. Sleep is finally getting better, maybe not what I'd call regular, just yet. But definitely much better!

Day 20! Up and at it early this morning. Another night of pretty decent sleep, getting to sleep took a bit of time, but once I made it was okay. It'll be a longer day today, but I will not drink alcohol with y'all this damn day!

Day 13. A fresh Monday morning to stay sober. Starting to realize I haven't faced a whole lot of big challenges, yet. But also starting to realize that my drinking caused a whole lot of big challenges to my sobriety.. Kind of a self supporting system, there. Anyways, I'm not drinking with y'all today!
