Yeah and the free app of the week or was it a day? There were quite a few gems and I used the hell out of them. I hoarded games too hoping I'd play after my studies were over but never got to it.

We can't catch a break with these two meddling in everything we do. Our politicians being corrupt as f doesn't help. The highest bidder shapes our policies. 🤦‍♂️

It indeed isn't easy, but the protests and riots exhibited that people aren't just going to sit idly by and take corruption lightly anymore. People and especially youths are getting more involved, not just venting and lashing out in social media.

There's a long road ahead and there are a lot of external influence to look out for, as a small country. But the situation is looking hopeful.

I hope it stays that way and improves.

Yes, corruption was a big issue with past governments which eventually led to people being pushed off the edge.

It sparked protests which turned deadly last year. The government were ousted and a new government is in place. We'll probably never know the extent of how much corruption took place, since it's been a norm for so long.

The new government is under a younger leadership and they won on a pledge to steer away from corruption and nepotism. But the jury's still out of how they keep their word.

I hope they have plans to address these issues that need immediate attention and be less reliant on foreign aid moving forward. I also hope we don't fall into debt trap.

Yeah, I posted it earlier as well. I don't know how effective the ban is. Some friends who aren't technically savvy have been using it without any problems without any walkarounds.
