Or I could just run Linux.
Usual moves from them, you may have trouble installing Linux on an Android PC Because they do not provide drivers for Linux or bootloader is locked.
And add waydroid to it.
Or try to run (a fork of) Android x86 in virt-manager.
(Do NOT use virtualbox, 1) the guest additions are closed-source 2) it's owned by oracle )
Well...
Would they also require those Linux apps to be registered with google?
yeah probably in the future, you may only install Linux apps from goolag play store.
Probably not. It'd break the entire point.
Well, they started the same with android. Nothing stops them from doing that for improved security and availability
"security" and "availability".
Do people really want Android's horrible memory management in a laptop package?
I guess. Also, restrictions on downloading 3rd party apps.
or you may omly install Linux apps from goolag play store, you can't sideload them
Yo dawg, we heard you like virtual machines, so we put virtual machines in your virtual machines, so you can run Linux on your Android on your Linux
Id much prefer this the other way round
