This image of home just came down from the Artemis II crew.

This makes me want to cry.

I try to be stoic and harden my heart to defend it from the horrors of the world and current events, but this is just so beautiful and amazing and all I ever wanted since I was a kid.

I don't know how people can look at this and be unable to pause and just want peace. We are so small and fragile.

We as a species should be working together, not trying to kill each other at every possible moment.

It's all I've ever wanted, and as I've aged I've become jaded and felt it's just been a stupid dream. But seeing this picture reminds me of that feeling, a world without borders.

Thank you NASA.

BREAKING: Trump Deletes Post Depicting Himself as Jesus Amid Heavy MAGA Backlash

Coward.

We all have the screenshots. This changes nothing. Here's the URL for posterity's sake:

https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116394884725149647

And to all MAGA Christians upset by his post: Give me a fucking break.

It wasn't the child rape and murder but the picture of your fairy tale that was over the line? Yeah right. He's been blasphemous since day one, and supporting him was a conscious choice by Christians. They can serve only God or Trump, and they chose Trump.

It doesn't matter what he deletes, it doesn't matter what they think about him now - they are blasphemers by their own religion.

Spez (Reddit CEO) just put out an announcement talking about how they'll verify bots vs humans. Get ready for a wave of new users into the Fediverse pretty soon!

I think there was a big shift for reddit in 2016 after they bought (and then shut down..) AlienBlue and then launch their official app. That moment it felt like when the number of users just exploded, but with that, the quality of posts (and average age of the user) dropped.

Lemmy/the fediverse reminds me of 2010-2015 reddit (which is a good thing!)
