Well, am I!?

Reply in thread

I haven't had a dream like that before but it would be comical to be walking into like 3rd grade petrified you can't find your class and get escorted to where you are supposed to be and being handed a test. Bam, it's a 3rd grade test. You fucking crush that thing, feel like a champ and wake up feeling like you know you got 100.
They thought they were going to trick me with 7x8 or 6x7? Psh. Those have been up there for 30 years.

Is that what the people tell you in your dream or is that just your opinion? Maybe some of them are to shy to let you know they are interested. If a movie can pull off "well it was cute that they forgot" I'm sure a dream could.

Are inmates apart of the jobs report that comes out? Like the ones who fight wildfires, or clean up roads or on a work release program? What about the unemployment numbers?

Reply in thread

Doesn't the federal rely on polls or something, like it isn't accurate. And then at the state level if someone goes beyond unemployment payments which is usually only like 6 weeks, I think they also fall into not being considered unemployed anymore but I'm not 100% how they mark that.

When the lunacy of the absurd job application finally puts you over the edge

These days I have to check online on the status of them and what not. Years ago I'm sure a lot of companies may have just lied like your saying because how would you know. That said in 2020 I changed my address on something to Sofi stadium because I was being dumb and had paid something off I thought but they contacted me years later in 2020 saying I owed them $280 or something. Turns out I sent them the amount I had owed the month prior, so the interest that accrued over the month left a balance of like $25 or something and they just let it sit and add late fees until that collection company called me. Being stubborn I asked them if I could pay the $25 and call it even, they said no so I hung up and changed the address on the account because California has more protections about harassing people.

Sure enough all my background checks now have a section where the county that Inglewood is in has to state I don't have a criminal record there. I've never even been to LA, let alone lived there.. oops.

We're still struggling because of DOGE.

See the thing is Trump's administration is pushing a lot of things through courts that would make it 100 reasonable to freeze all of his assets and revoke citizenship from him and every child of his who opposes the governments view. The whole national security risk thing that has been argued makes a whole lot more sense when it comes to Musk than it does the person mowing people's yards or such.

Did you spend money to influence elections: yes. You are a potential threat to the Republic. Was that amount reasonable? Well it was illegal to spend more than $10,000 for 234 years out of our 250 years of existence. His "donations" aren't that, twice that, four times that, or even ten times that. They are now a thousand times that. That screams threat to our nation and corruption.

Republicans: gottem!

Meh I talked to a person who was in their 80s yesterday. They saw a headline/picture of Lina Kahn and immediately had a reaction that was "oh she's the..." But couldn't say anything that she had actually done. 100% programed response. Fox doesn't care/want you to remember what they say. They want you to remember their visceral response to names. See name:bad taste in mouth..... Why? Doesn't matter

Let's be honest, it means switching to renewables and the grid upgrades. The U.S. wont have mass transit upgrades for 100 years. The renewables will be done around 2050. Why, not because they are worse for the environment, because they will cost more and are dumb for investors.
