with all the stupid shit happening around me

I renewed my US passport about 6 months ago. I was eligible to renew online. Cost around $130 if I remember correctly. The online process was actually really easy and it came in the mail only a few weeks later (2-3 weeks). Highly recommend renewing online if you meet the eligibility requirements.

Trump voter asks for donations for wife's bond after she's detained by ICE

Reply in thread

Damn that sucks if true. I really do feel bad for them, but like what is the point of me donating if he's not going to speak out against this administration. Doesn't he realize it's not just about his situation, but for everyone else who's also impacted by this? I rather give to another family that will not only use these funds to hopefully turn their situation around but also you know like then also give back/help others and speak out. To be honest I didn't look into OP's comment to fact check because you know I'm only human, busy and got problems of my own. If true though this is really sad ....

How Three Alleged Tesla Vandals Got Caught

Lol ya and all that video footage is owned by the company of those cameras, like Ring aka Amazon. They can access it at anytime and they can even give it to the police.

Edit: there are setups in which you can store your footage on your own drives. However, many people don't know how to set it up so they use out of the box camera + app which stores all the data on the company servers.

How much do you pay for food each month?

I spend about $200/month just for myself. I cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Take lunch with me to work everyday. I eat very very plain food (ie rice and chicken every day). With grocery prices up, I cut out a lot from my diet to keep around $200/month. No beef, no fresh fish, no fruits, no yogurt/kefir.

Meat: chicken, turkey, tuna fish, eggs and egg whites Veggies: kale, collard green, frozen veggies, tomatoes Carbs: rice, pasta, sweet potato, canned beans, peanut butter, granola bars, cereal Fruit: I admit I bought a bag of apples recently Dairy: milk, mozzarella cheese

I go to the gym regularly and drink 1-2 protein shakes per day.

Kind of embarrassing that I live on such a restricted boring diet, but at least I cook for myself, stay within budget, and stay away from processed foods/ snacks.

Anyone getting notified by their pharmacy that their meds are out of stock? (US)

Reply in thread

Hi, pharmacist here. I wanted to clarify that the "discontinuation" you saw on the FDA website regarding sertraline does not mean the drug has been taken off the market. It simply indicates that one manufacturer—Strides Pharma Inc.—has recently stopped producing all strengths of sertraline tablets (25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg).

Sertraline is a widely used generic medication, and many other manufacturers continue to produce it.

PC gamers spend 92% of their time on older games, oh and there are apparently 908 million of us now

Black ops 6 is so bad IMHO. It takes forever to boot up the game and then hits you with the "update available, quit & restart". Then waiting another 5 mins to download the update, then another couple mins to reach the main menu again. Oh and what was the actual update? To hit me with an advertisement video of season whatever...with new purchases for dumb costumes etc. Like c'mon just let me play the damn game already! When Im finally in a match the gameplay feels rigged...like I'm playing slots in Vegas than an actual video game. The respawns appearing out of nowhere. I honestly believe what I'm seeing on my screen is not what the other player is seeing. Its like these game designers purposely made this game based on an algorithm rather than setting game rules and allowing the players to compete based on skill. Maybe I'm way off on this (and am just a terrible cod player lol) but would like to hear other people's opinion on this.

all the advertisements, constantly wanting me to spend more money when the game was already expensive to begin with. The game play as described as above. Also the perks/tiers suck. Makes for a very unenjoyable experience. The game is just not fun.
