Who counts the numbers of people who show up to these organized protests? When do they count how many protesters showed up? And who are "they?" Who's counting the number of protesters? Will I be counted if I can only be there from 11-noon?

According to sociopolitical statistics they say if twice as many people attend this protest as did the last one, we will have 3% of the nation's population present which will begin to affect noticeable changes that we desire.

I work literally right next door to where one of the protests is being held which is awesome, so my conscience demands I contribute my presence.

Or do they just lovingly overlook that part because the love is worthwhile enough to overlook (enable? condone?) the quirks & annoyances?

I've never made that mistake and I've never personally witnessed anyone else slip either, but surely someone somewhere has. Especially in the years before smartphones & atomic clocks existed, when we had to manually set all our clocks.

I know that's why they always make it happen on a Saturday night Sunday morning so for most people it won't affect their work or school schedule the next morning

but Sunday mornings aren't always schedule-free for everyone. Plenty of people go to work/church/obligations on Sunday mornings,

so surely there's a non-zero chance that some clock mistakes have happened on daylight savings time Sunday mornings.

Within the last month or two I learned here that echolalia is an ADHD symptom. Apparently it's not neurotypical to constantly have songs going through your head that haunt you for days on end and they come into your head when you don't want them and you hate these songs like it's raining right now and I absolutely hate that song by the Eurythmics "here comes the rain again" but I fucking hate that song and that Annie Lennox woman with the man haircut who wears men's clothes staring into my eyes from her MTV video, and it's playing in my head. Help please. Is there a way to get rid of these songs in my head. They never end.

So I had to buy two of them to get as much as I used to get with one. Each one of these now cost $12. The total ounces of salmon you see here used to cost $7.

Let's say hypothetically you've got a bad case of covid & strep throat so you check into a hotel for a week to quarantine away from friends & family, at any point do you notify hotel staff of your illness? Or would you rather lay low, ashamed, not mention it, hoping/assuming they clean the room as well as possible after you leave. Knowing there's a possibility the housekeeper and anyone nearby may catch this bug??

Or

B) Get impatient, cut them off and tell them everything you know about the topic?

Or

C) Patiently let them finish, THEN tell them you already know, and everything you know about the topic?

I personally have a tendency to be an impatient douche sometimes so I admit I don't always handle these situations with the greatest patience & social grace.

When "K" is in the process of texting someone and he's typing but he doesn't submit it and he doesn't delete it either, he just leaves it hanging as a draft as he goes on with his day, will the other person keep seeing these undulating "K is typing" dots forever? Or will the dots disappear if K doesn't submit the text?

I've been taking pics & vids with my smartphone for years but I'm tired of it telling me the memory is full. I want to have a dedicated camera that can upload to clouds, youtube, share via email, text etc. Anybody out there know about cameras?

and in my current mood I find it amusing, hilarious, funny.

Methinks the government wants everybody to be miserable indoors. The dismal lying weather report ruined my Christmas plans. Turned out to be a gorgeous beautiful sunny day in Southern California and I could've done the thing I was planning to do if the weather forecast hadn't lied to us telling us it would be pouring rain for 4 solid days. Lies. The government weather forecast ruined my Christmas and I ended up spending the day alone at the gym instead of at the beach with friends.

This question came to mind when driving back & forth between California-Arizona where vehicle fuel prices have a $2 PER GALLON difference. (I love my diesel vehicle. Fight me.)

So (1) would I drive 5 hours inland to Arizona just to save $2 per gallon?

Or (2) Would I buy a shit-ton of gas cans & fill them up in Arizona then haul them back to California?

As destitute as I am, would I move to Arizona for all-around lower cost of living? (3)

(1) Um, no.

(2) Sounds like a clever idea but ultimately ridiculous for so many reasons. No.

(3) Stupidly & stubbornly, no, I haven't broken yet. I still love California too much to run inland away from this extortionately high cost of living.

BUT

I prefer to walk/run/bike rather than drive short distances.

Prefer DIY-ing or foregoing luxuries rather than paying for services I could do myself. Haircuts. Massages. Handyman repairs within my ability.

It's terrifying to become intimate with someone like this as you slowly realize there's a glitch and part of their soul is missing. And they think they are always right, and will never understand what they're missing in their prefrontal cortex.

But oddly enough their mental defect serves them as a strength & an intimidation factor as they go about life intermixed with neurotypical people, they plow through life unbothered, they win at everything as they remorselessly use & manipulate & plow through everyone in their path.

I wish in some dystopian(?) utopian(?) parallel universe these people would be identified then given a one-way space flight to a different planet where they all would live amongst their own kind. What do you think an entire planet populated ONLY with narcissists, sociopaths, & psychopaths would be like?

Let them all use & manipulate & destroy each other their entire lives while we innocent guileless fairer folks can have our peace restored.
