They say communication is the key to healthy relationships, so how honestly do people communicate in relationships?
Do they tell each other their pet peeves about each other?
Or do they just lovingly overlook that part because the love is worthwhile enough to overlook (enable? condone?) the quirks & annoyances?
By my definition of a healthy relationship, yes they do.
Now, the nature of the pet peeve may be avoidable by the mate, or may not be, but a good mate should try to not annoy the other if its reasonable to do so.
