You raise a great point. The culture is there and blue states don't inherently have a greater inventory, per se. In response to the OP, would it be fair to say blue states celebrate and display that culture versus red states?

It's interesting the reply mentioned washing machines when the OP was specifically talking about a dryer.

Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock and Roll" was once modern rock.
I feel that in '78 it was a bit of a retro style song. Modern rock in that era sounded much different. The sax and piano hearkened back to the 50s and even 60s. He wrote a song that sounded like it was from the era he missed is how I always interpreted it.

...?
Are the items hard to stock because they're hard to find or are the shelves empty because everyone bought up the hard to find items? Hmmm...

TIL Pop-Tarts are now lower quality than the old generic knock offs
I don't know if it's nostalgia or if the recipe has changed but I feel Pop Tarts are worse than when I was a kid (late 80s / early 90s).

What an idiotic OP (in the picture not you). Go into debt over a status symbol with as much utility as a $10 substitute. Yes, brilliant advice.

German translator caught on hot mic complaining about Trump inauguration speech: How much longer 'with this s–t?'
Translating for him must be a cakewalk. You only have to know, what, 25-30 words at most?

She remembers all of it.
And those who remember Bush dragging us into two wars we shouldn't have still have the country divided firmly in half. We can't make the mistake of thinking having lived through a shitty Republican presidency=blue. It's just not true.
