That being said, I am new to the Fediverse, and I finally found a viable replacement for Reddit that is less toxic (at the moment at least,) and where I can socialize. I only use Telegram and Lemmy now. This is all I have. I don't have friends in the real world. I appreciate your strategy, but you should think of how this influx of toxicity would affect people like me who have difficulties socializing and making new physical friends and maintaining those friendships.
