Reddit’s average daily traffic fell during blackout, according to third-party data
Yes Obviously its working hence why the admins are now so Aggressive in demoding mods and forcing subs open.

My /r/piracy troll post just hit reddit frontpage!

they forced Multiple subs open like r/steam , r/pics but they opened in a funny way and more.
Some of the Reddit jannitors simply opened back up as soon as they got threatened to loose their unpaid Janitor role.

Reddit claimed to have been hacked by BlackCat, and it has threatened to leak the data
Great , we need all the more Bad news spreading about reddit.
they did the entire stunt to open for IPO likely this will screw them.

Is it safe to directly share pirated links?
Make base64 code and it should be fine, I think the maker of this instance said magnet links are fine too and general looks to websites just not directly to the content as in fit girls page would be fine just not anything on it.
But I bet they will comment at some point

Awkward the turtle ( 1000 sub reddit mod) banned and begging to get unbanned.
That's how much reddit cares about you even if you did the job of tons and tons of paid employees.

Should check if it stays removed, reddit started to restore removed comments and posts and even removed edits

They feel threatened because blackouts actually had them user drops and people migrated to lemmy they fear they loose the grip on reddit.

Well, I'm probably banned now. Here's to the future of kbin/lemmy!
"sent from sync on android "
The cherry on top lol

Reddit removed moderators behind the latest protests before restoring a few of them - restored by a different admin than the one that removed them...
Sounds like the admins hate each other too and that there's some stressful talk between them.

My post on /r/pics blew up.
Sadly thats exactly what reddit wants :/ doesnt matter if its John oliver as long as it isnt NSFW and content and brings clicks they are happy.

Why lemmy instead kbin?
I tried Kbin and its way harder for me somehow searching other federated instanced content on Kbin than on lemmy.
It feels like for Kbin you need to go first to lets say Lemmy.world and then check the list and copy the names of each then search it.
on any lemmy instance i can simply search the things and find stuff of other instances way easier.
also Lemmy is like WAY bigger of user base posts and comments.

Its quite crazy r/piracy and similiar subs i would have placed bets are exactly the subs they would liked to see go... and then they literarily force it back open
this can be only one logical Conclusion , Reddit endorses and wants Piracy based talk on reddit lol

For some reason people get all ways extra fabulous when they make open source Software and need a fancy name instead of a great descriptive one...
Or they could name it atleast nautilus the file explorer or something.

Is Lemmy.ml instance blocked from Lemmy.world? And when will it federate again?
Many federation things are broken atm. i know of Multiple communitys that are behind hours or Multiple days both on lemmy.world and Kbin the instance owner says their server got tons of recources free so its federation related bugs i guess.
