The more bullshit like this I read about YouTube the more I despite them. I already use GrayJay on mobile and I'm using ublock Origin + ublock Matrix on Librewolf to control cookie usage on desktop. So far I've been able escape the video player block by clearing cache.

I'm just waiting for the day they "force" me onto another frontend.

This feels like a good post to mention AdNauseam! For anyone who wants an adblocker that helps more than just you! It basically blocks ads but also sends a click request to every ad that should have been loaded. The data being sent with this request contains spoofed garbage data that makes the tracking data sets lose value. It also keeps a funny metric on how much the estimated cost for your clicks is :)

This is the same type of propaganda Nvidia is trying to push. Jensen Huang saying "people should have planned better, the rising prices of hardware was imminent" is the exact same tactic of being the cause of the problem and still putting the blame of everyone else.

Either they get media publicity showing how Israel is transgressing and commiting crimes on international water or they get to Gaza and can help people there. Even if they didnt bring a cruiser cargo of supplies they can still actively help the situation there.

Doesnt really matter IMO. If you have known bugs and flaws you dont showcase those, or if they are present in the showcase you atleast adress them and show what is to be expected upon release. NVIDIA just flat out didnt care. As soon as motion increases the artefacting is crazy. How do you even decide that this is remotely good enough for a demo?

This is what I find fascinating about capitalism. It builds on the premise of increasing profit by increasing efficiency and quantity. With that mindset we should strive to improve efficiency until no one needs to work and everything is automated and autonomous, no? That would be the peak of efficiency? But then how would people pay for the products being produced? They cant, it needs to be free, since no one has a salary because theyre not working. But then the CEOs wouldnt make money. So theres no incentive unless your goal is not monetary but to improve the ultimate wellbeing of humanity. Its inherently a flawed concept since the main incentive is monetary, yet we refuse to accept what must be the ultimate goal to be able to keep power above others.

And yes, i know this is very simplified. But still explain to me why we do mass layoffs in favor of AI slop if the incentive is not entirely monetary and for the sake efficiency and or cutting costs. Explain how and who will survive the further we go along? Capitalism at its core makes the rich the survivors. There wont be infinite recursions of 10x productivity revolutions because the workers will die off in the process.

There is no such thing as a good billionaire. At some point you accumulate wealth more than you can physically use. Where all your needs in every way are met and you literally have no use for it more than hoarding. Theres so much good things you can do in this world instead of becoming a billionaire and yet she is. I will not for a second believe she did her absolute best to help others in need instead of becoming wealthy. I have no personal hate for Taylor Swift, but i do hate the rich.

Also which actually helpful and caring person flies a private yet constantly. Come on, thats just stupid. Ridiculous costs and environmental damage. You could use any other means for transportation and instead use the jet money to fund proper food for US schools or something. Literally anything else is better.
