Hooray! One of the few communities I was going to miss on Reddit. Thank you!

The sidebar to this community sums it up pretty well. “ A gaming sub free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it’s price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don’t meet the system requirements, or just haven’t had the time to keep up with the latest releases.”

Since the API announcement, I've made a big effort not to open Reddit. It's working so far. Found Lemmy...but more importantly actually took Mastodon seriously. With the Ivory app, goodness, I'm loving it! So many helpful and knowledgeable people.

I've been following tags on topics I'm interested in, and just really digging the community.

Oh no way! I was just telling my BIL that the best thing subreddits could do is register Lemmy instances, and sticky a post on June 12th during their blackout that the community has moved here.

Cheers! Lemmy has been awesome so far! I just need Mlem to be developed more, or have some other iOS developer come in.

On Desktop, it seems Lemmy is at its best right now.

Good luck! Mastodon has been a dream community for me. I haven’t yet made any persistent friends, but engaging with people’s toots has been awesome.
