Minecraft is leaving Reddit

It’ll take about a week for the ‘find out’ phase to wrap up, then we’re onto the lesser known ‘baby please come back I can change’ phase.

2 authors say OpenAI 'ingested' their books to train ChatGPT. Now they're suing, and a 'wave' of similar court cases may follow.

AI isnt a boogyman, it's a set of tools. No chance it's going away even if Open AI suddenly disappeared.

Personally I think things have changed for the better, I’ve been waiting for a Reddit alternative for years and only found kbin through the blackout. Seems we’ve got sustainable numbers and a decent community.
A small win but still a win.

What's the funniest/dumbest thing your pet did ?
Walking my dog in the woods and she found a plastic bag, picked it up in her mouth and starts parading it around to show it off.
She got a little too excited and started running, picked up too much speed, the bag blew up over her eyes and she ran flat into a tree.

If you didn't know, firefox has 'containers' where you can open a tab in, for example, a 'work' container and it won't carry the cookies over. Lets you log into multiple accounts on 1 browser (like personal email & work email etc).
Doesn't have seperate history though.

Second this, while user feedback is important and it’s great to see such passion for this project, hopefully we can all keep just as much patience.
Honestly the progress we’re seeing so far seems pretty astoundingly fast considering how few people are working on it.

Hello fellow adults! Anybody else feel like almost every time you have to talk to someone to buy a thing, you're being swindled? If so how do you keep yourself from being taken advantage of?

Buy tech that is relatively new
This is a great point but just to add, if its a brand product you can get common issues that don't crop up for 6 months (e.g. xbox 360's red ring of death). So buy new but not on 1st day release, and do a quick research on issues people often have.
