/r/Conservative is going to save Reddit

It's not a terrible strategy. Reddit can remove mods and reopen a subreddit but if you turn off automod, any extra moderation bots and let shit run wild then reddit has a problem.

Weaponize the assholes that mods usually have to deal with by giving them full reign.

Leave in the states is weird. In NZ I work 40h a week and I get 4 weeks of annual leave (vacation) and 10 sick days. The sick days can accrue up to 20 days, annual leave is infinite but lots of businesses try to encourage you to take it every year.

When you change jobs all the annual leave is paid out.

If you have 15 days of annual leave accrued and there's a public holiday within 15 days of you leaving then you're paid for that too.

📣 Apollo will close down on June 30th. Reddit’s recent decisions and actions have unfortunately made it impossible for Apollo to continue. Thank you so, so much for all the support over the years. ❤️

The stats assume all users contribute the same amount to the community.

Like you've said, if a large number of the people who submit content are the ones using the third party apps then the loss of those users has a large larger impact.

The same thing applies to moderators who use third party apps (among other tools that may not be affected) because their mod tools are better than the official app.
