My apologies. Maybe I should copy and paste more info from the link I mentioned at the top that includes more details https://lemmy.world/post/35749413 but I'll try to rephrase it to make it more convenient for people. Just a sample of the plans anyways to see what type of response I'd get, and working on the next organizational stages of the plans now. Edit: Updated, but will still try to come back later to edit more.

Would you be intrigued by an annual video series inspired by Extreme Dodgeball from Game Show Network, w/ country vs country matches, and a modified version of the rules?

Reply in thread

Yes, and I've heard some players say rubber ball types are too extreme for them, but I think it would be the best type, such as some of the ones used in Extreme Dodgeball.

I also heard something about some people not liking a lot of the rule changes as the game show progressed to new seasons, and ball size differences, so I would say ball size to be the 8.5 inch size.

Historic Memphis Synagogue to Multi-Sport Court

Thank you. I copy and pasted it from another place I posted where I couldn't edit it, so I started this post out with a different title from the last time to match the attached image, however the plans could be modified to be done at a different location if we find something that might work better while trying to move forward.

Half Life 'n' the Boys: Dodgeball Exhibit

Reply in thread

I forgot to post another way it all relates to gaming and another popular game it all relates to while still fitting the theme, to bring multiple communities together, and the record-breaking event was never meant to be a requirement to make it all happen. I will try to post another update soon.

NES Super Dodgeball and more Meet Up inspired by Fallout Meet Up

Thank you and I'll try to rewrite it, but at the last sentence in first paragraph it says "Ours could still be something unique, bringing together different gaming communities" and I forgot to mention we can include an e-sports division of the NES Dodgeball Game, even though it relates to it in other ways since that's the style I first began playing the sport in 2001 and I'd love to host more events using the same rules of the NES game for irl versions.

A warehouse would work well for the e-sports division, but for an irl version of the sport inspired by the conquest game mode of the battlefield series, I think an open field would work best, but of course there are plenty of cheaper options. I was using that location as an example.

Edit: But we can still look into a warehouse for a version of the conquest game mode as well of course. Hope to see you on the dodgeball battlefield!
