Thanks to OpenAI, it's never been clearer that Sundar Pichai is Google's Steve Ballmer

I've maintained this idea for a while as well. It's really only after Pichai took over that Google and Android both have started scrapping useful programs/apps/services, made needless change to make products worse, and in general just haven't really innovated much at all. At least when compared to how the company was run when Larry Page and Erik Schmidt were running the company.

This dude has made Google boring.

Appeals Court Bails Trump Out of Having to Post Massive Fraud Bond

The legal system is doing EVERYTHING it can to delay literally everything for this man, just so that election time will creep closer and closer and they can just say, "oh it's too close to election time and we can't just cancel a Presidential candidate in the midst of all this".

These exceptions will never be given to any normal citizen of the US, but when it's this rich orange idiot, every rule in existence will bend.

They had it so easy but didn't realize that that's not the norm at all. They still expect the same to happen now. As if one can work through college and pay off all debts, or if just going to college meant landing a job, or even if you landed a job it would do little more than just make you live paycheck to paycheck.

Indian politician threatens to nuke Canada on live show

Most Indians they have emigrated out of that shithole country will never talk about this kind of thing or any of the actual lawlessness, level of corruption, bigotry, and religious intense that happens in India.

I'm an Indian who's moved to the US and I'm pretty pissed off that the US openly welcomed Modi after the was banned for what he did in the riots in the early 2000s.

Hopefully the world gets to know the real India.

POLL - Will you stay on lemmy?

I'm planning on staying here permanently. I'll go into Reddit just to check subreddit names I've subscribed to and see if there's a Lemmy community for it every now and then, but I'm not going to engage with Reddit more than that.
