It's a new life for me / and I'm feeling good.
Congratulations. I have mine still active for 2 years for email forwarding...I think I should have caught all residual services by now and switched the email adress for them. Photos are transferred to selfhosted Immich, Files on nextcloud and Filen. Maybe I should find some time for the final deletion then?

Mh I don't know. Guess it depends on the game then. I play most games with the touch pads. Just so much better if configured right. The touch pads can also be used for abilities or menus or inventory slots etc. It gives the steam deck so much versatility. You can play everything from a joystick only game To mouse dependent games to shooter.

Serious question here: what is the bad ux experience of lemmy compared to reddit? (except choosing an instance in the beginning, I get that this might turn off a lot of people)

Amazon's Monopoly of the tech industry is ruining the US economy

In more general terms, you can look up the item at e.g. Idealo.de or other product comparison sites and then decide where to buy. Amazon is most often not the cheapest, even including additional delivery cost

Why aren't there mass protests in the USA?
Reply in thread
Yes I hear this all the time. So what you are saying is that 1)people in Europe don't have jobs and 2)the population density in us is low. Regarding 2) yes it is lower in the US however Washington dc and surrounding area (maybe 2h drive by car or so) have several million inhabitants. Let's assume 5, if only 1% of them are going we would be talking about at least 50.000 people joining a protest. I don't have seen any reports about that, are those just not reported?
