Syncing Calendars with Syncthing, CalDav, Radicale and DAVx5

I am trying to sync my calendar between a hackintosh and an android phone without google, icloud and the likes.

So far I´ve got syncthing to sync a folder called DecSync. I run a local Radicale server from that folder. Thunderbird on macOS can write to the calendar on that server.

Now I´m looking for a solution like Radicale on the Android side. I have DAVx5 running but I can´t just point it to the synced folder there. It needs an accout.

Is there such a solution? Or is there an easier way to sync calendars? Any help is highly welcomed.

If I am wrong in here, as I am not really hosting anything, please say so, if possible with a different place to ask for help.

Cable management on (wired) In-Ears

I am looking for advice on how to manage the cable of my In-Ears. I need ones with cable because of lack of bluetooth, and I need them to be small because I usually have other stuff to carry around, so please don´t recommend wireless or Over-Ears.

I currently use a small zip lock bag to put them in after use, but even there, they get tangled up, unless I spend the same amount of time storing them as I do now untangling them.

So...has anyone got an idea on how to store them better, that is, faster and without getting a giant knot? Or are there small and easy-to-store In-Ears that I am unaware of?

PS just to explain my use case: I recently got a mini-keyboard that fits in my backpack which I use to play on my train and bus transit. It only has a 3.5mm jack. Sometimes I get carried away a bit while playing and then have to frantically pack everything in order to not miss my station.

Timeshift restores empty /boot folder, wipes everything else

Hey all, I had a frozen screen during the latest update and am left with a kernel panic on boot, so I want to restore my system from an external hdd using a live usb system. I tried that using timeshift and following this guide https://ostechnix.com/how-to-backup-and-restore-linux-system-with-timeshift/#restore-snapshots and now it seems I only have an empty /boot folder on the original drive. Luckily I have a separate backup of /home, but still, I would like to restore my system, and, perhaps more importantly, I would like timeshift not to wipe all my data. Any help is highly appreciated, any necessary additional info gladly given.

webview renderer crash toast message

I've been getting toast messages telling me that webview renderer has crashed due to insufficient memory. I don't know the exact wording as it is in German and only visible for a few seconds. I don't know which app sends them but it is starting to get annoying. There are no noticeable issues apart from the messages themselves. Any ideas how to deal with these messages - or the problem they try to tell me about?

Running android 12, messages appear on any app and on home screen.

folkmusic·Folk and Traditional MusicbyBraveSentry

Hello world!

This is the first post in the new folk music community. Use this to say hello and, if you want to, say what kind of tradition you come from or are into. I'll begin saying that I am mostly making and listening to western european traditions, such as Irish jigs and reels or scandinavian polskas.
