Depends how big your kitchen is, what you're making and how organized you are. If you're working in an appartment kitchenette you can hardly turn around in, probably not. If you're making a family dinner for a dozen people or more in a big room sized kitchen in a family home, then yeah maybe you want some help.

Your garden and kitchen = biochemistry and biology. Home improvement, crafting and anything to do with the trades = physics. Household cleaners, gas, automotive chemicals and plastics = chemistry + healthcare = more organic chemistry and biology. Just dealing with everyday life is science.

Look I think one of the fundamental problems here is we have a cultural divide between people with thousand dollar degrees and everyday people. When someone says "I'm not going to be a scientist" they're probably thinking "I can't afford to pay thousands of dollars to pay for a degree" whilst actual scientists are wondering "why don't people pursue this subject more?" Money. Pure and simple. Real science = cooking, building something, worrying about that scum in your sink, trying to figure out the best cleaner that won't set off an allergic reaction, and yes looking into the side effects of vaccines and assorted drugs. You want people to think scientifically then call them scientists. Don't create an economic barrier for those who want to pursue knowledge. And don't treat science like it only happens in labs. It's an every day process. Science = the study of nature and everybody can do that every day. You don't need an expensive degree to do that. So being a "scientist" shouldn't be limited to those in white coats, getting grants and have a dozen plaques on their wall that cost a couple thousand dollars to buy.

Well they do have a point. Having strength isn't the same thing as using it. Most have the ability to beat another human to a pulp but instead use their words and other forms of conflict resolution. So to extend that logic one isn't peaceful if one doesn't have the power not to be; that is one isn't restraining themselves from being violent and exercising benevolence and patience but rather being forced to be tolerant of others bullshit because they can't do anything about it. It's like is your chastity being tested more in a monestary or a whorehouse?

Yeah I've found Reddit to be complicated at best. Kinda drama driven most of the time. So I tend to lose interest and just go there on occasion for tech related stuff. Even less so now.

I don't think it's the amount but rather the context given the character development. If the character is always ecchi then it makes more sense. If you have a random sex scene then it doesn't quite make sense. That's true whether it's anime or a romance novel. In fact anime is often compared to literature, as opposed to other visual media like television because of it's advanced character development. I've got no problem with tons of fan service but I agree it has to be paired with good writing. I don't find excessive amounts of Plot bad so much as badly written story and plot, now that's cringe. So in essence I would disagree with the assertion that everyone hates fanservice but add the caveat that randomly throwing in a sex scene does not automatically improve things on its own either.

I remember goldeneye. And yeah it would be annoying. You could probably plug the snipe commands onto the right thumbstick. But yeah trying to emulate 90s single stick controls onto double stick controllers is a pain. Almost as bad as trying to emulate a Wii lol.

Yeah anti Japanese would bother me as well if I caught it as I'm an anime and Jpop/Jrock fan as well. If Kpop artists wanted to encourage me as a fan they would develop positive rather than negative relationships with their Jpop counterparts.

It's more why should you respect and be patient with someone who can't do a thing against you if you aren't? Say you met someone on the street and they decided to start insulting you. The natural response is to punch them in the face to ensure they don't insult you further; except if they are stronger or have some other reason for you to respect them and put up with their bullshit (ex. Elders, martial arts sensei, some kind of community leader, etc.).

The response to a peaceful protest is similar. So long as they don't insult one's honor or get in the way they don't get a punch in the face, except if they wield enough political clout. You don't have power to be peaceful unless you can fight back.

Yet if you want certification to get a job people keep asking to be trained on proprietary tech. I mean I totally agree with you man but the academic market is frustrating.
