Why don't schools simulate a typical 9 to 5 work week for students and remove homework entirely?

This was my first thought. Teachers definitely need time to assess outside of class time. I would think that assessment or grading would happen while they aren't teaching. There should be a system where teachers grade outside of teaching time or during "homework/study hall" time. You would teach math for 6 hours and grade math for 2 or some breakdown that makes sense. I don't want to make teachers work anymore than they already do. The current system doesn't seem to respect them either way.

There was a feature I had on android several years ago where you could limit notification sounds by time. You could pick from 1 to like 10 minutes. The first one would ping you and the rest for that timeframe would be silent notifications until the timeframe ended and treated the next one like normal.

Edit: still a feature on the texting app I use, Textra. I like their features so much I paid for it and keep reverting back when trying stock or anything else. I'm sure there's some big flaw I don't know about since it's an old SMS app though.

Florida Schools Will Teach How Slavery Brought ‘Personal Benefit’ to Black People

Even if his argument was in any way accurate, that flag clearly does not currently mean what he's defending. I grew up in the south, went to college in the south, etc... If you want southern pride all over the place (I don't see why you would be proud of that with how awful it's going) then just fly your state flag. Certain parts have beautiful nature and culture that is absolutely great. The stars and bars have nothing to do with it. It's not even accurate as a Confederate flag. A swastica on a flag is so outside of this "southern flag" idea that it should mean an immediate investigation of the people flying it.

You can fit two cars there

I'd argue that it sacrifices the safety of any other car that's smaller than it too, with sudans being the most vulnerable. No way a bumper difference of feet allows for the smaller car's safety features to work as intended if not bypassed entirely.

Ordinary redditors are feeling the pain as well.

Reply in thread

Yes exactly. What's the root cause? The good info is gone. Why is the good info gone? The people making it were pushed beyond their limits. Why were they pushed to far? Spez wants to make reddit publicly profitable (sure that's not crazy by itself). Now we split up the next level. Either he wants reddit to live on foreverish and be self sustained or he wants to go public and dip the hell out of there. Going public is clearly bad when it is entirely valuable based on voluntary work and user based content. Fuck over all of the value and it's not about keeping reddit alive foreverish, it's about going public and fucking off. Whoever gets stuck with the bag when corporate dips is screwed.
