On one hand it's now on Nintendo Switch but £50+ for the Difinitive Trilogy is "definitely" not worth it! You can get in on PS5 at the moment for 10% of that price :/

Also ROTTR is the best game in the trilogy :D

The confusing name was the biggest reason I think. I was trying to sell it to customers back then and so many just couldn't grasp the name of it and got the two consoles mixed up.

Thanks for sharing. I played the open source version of Z a few months back and it was a real nostalgia hit :)

90s and 00s era were pretty wild with advertising.

I'll pair your cosy dog with our sleepy dog :D

Sea shanties of all your favourite radio ads.

I'm surprised not really that people still put up with the 2K bullshit. It's hasn't been good for over 10 years now with all the micro transactions and in-game ads :(

Masters of Albion comes out this year, and quite soon, on 22nd April, and seeks to give us a dose of Dungeon Keeper, Black & White and Fable all in one.

Honestly it sounds and looks great but no way am I buying an early access Molyneux game!

That's a fair point. I feel that PC gaming was in a peak of consumerism with ridiculous prices and never ending "upgrades" so it'll be interesting to see if anything changes. I hope it does and some of that knowledge/skill and enthusiasm for optimisation comes back.

Recently it was Balatro that I played for the first time 2 months ago.

The whole "this is an Xbox" stuff just shows how lost they are...

That and buying Activision Blizzard for 70 billion :/

I thought you had 3 strikes and your out? Also he could/should have been a lot more cautious:

Since the rest of the game was just a standard horror title like Resident Evil I figured it didn't really require an age restriction, and that if anything, YouTube would just apply one later on like they always do

I watch everything with subtitles, foreign or not.

It's not as simple as comparing prices or exchange rates when purchasing power varies so wildly across the world.

An interesting point made with the advancement of 200GB bluray discs but I don't think it's really needed for games to go that far. Also having a console without physical media is just wrong to me so I guess PS5 is my end of the line.

Heat (1995)

It was just one of those movies that for some reason I'd never watched until about 6 months ago. I heard it was great and ,as it turns out, it certainly is.

If you have any old hardware/laptop laying around then use that until you nail down what you actually want to do and need.

Everyday apliances being online is just insane to me.

Crafting "survival" quickly became one of my least favourite genres. It's 99% the same boring bullshit and the word "survival" is doing some heavy lifting when it is really just a crafting action game or something.

There are a few exceptions to the rule like The Long Dark and Don't Starve though.

Halo comes to mind straight away. The way the enemies react, dodging out the way or charging towards you was something special. Also the music score and freedom it gives you in the semi-open levels to play differently.
