I think this might actually be the case. Let's see how things work out. Lemmy surprised me as a proper alternative it's just not as content rich as reddit at the moment. Something about chickens and eggs.

Let's just expand and improve it further than the original lemmies did. Don't be afraid to post content, heck scrape content and make this the better option. People will follow content.

Salman I like him

For those who don't understand it's Arabic:

As-salamu alaykum (Arabic: ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ, as-salāmu ʿalaykum, Arabic: [as.sa.laː.mu ʕa.laj.kum] (listen)), also written salamun alaykum and typically rendered in English as salam alaykum, is a greeting in Arabic that means 'Peace be upon you'. The salām (سَلَام, meaning 'peace') has become a religious salutation for Muslims[1][2] worldwide when greeting each other, though its use as a greeting pre-dates Islam, and is also common among Arabic speakers of other religions (such as Arab Christians and Mizrahi Jews).

Secret Exit

One interesting item of note in the canyon is the existence of this “door to nowhere” over looking Ring Bolt Pool and the base of Cleveland Dam. This door protects the end of a tunnel built during the construction of Cleveland Dam in the 1950’s. Originally there was a ladder from the base of the canyon up to this door to allow access for workers. Now it is an area where the dam and canyon can be visually inspected as required.

Nested Quotations

Like in English, when a quote contains a quote within, the quotation marks alternative. Typically the single quotation marks (「」) are used for the outermost quote, and the innermost has double quotation marks (『』).

Hanako wa "hai" to itta 花子は「はい」と言った Hanako said "yes." Tarou wa "Hanako wa 'hai' to itta" to itta 太郎は「花子は『はい』と言った」と言った Tarou said: "Hanako said: 'yes.'"
