Also it assumes healthy competition and companies that are competing to make the best product at the chrapest price. It ALSO assumes brand lotalty isn't a thing, and consumers are judging things purely objectively.

I'm starting to think that the AI hype bubble isn't really meant for consumers. We've mostly killed off jounalism and news, review publications are all either dead or bought and paid for. Ads are all blocked and influencers are managed. Reviews and social commentary are tricky to engineer at scale, unless you have a huge AI farm to generate a ton of fake conversations to steer people to decisions.

Now that the tech is available to everyone, it's an arms race to build a bigger one than your competitors to make it appear as though your 'side' of whatever you're pushing is the more predominant perspective.

Adding AI crap to products is just the cover story to justify the giant costs to have your own private propaganda machine.

I struggled at math as a young kid because I hated doing everything the long way and showing every step. I got a mental math book that taught how to do longer form multiplication in your head. I could multiply 2-3 digit numbers in my head and just tell you the answer.

My teacher made me do it on the board in front of everyone and swore I was cheating somehow because if she couldn't do it, a kid couldn't either.

I was also reading Michael Chriton books in the 4th grade, and teachers thought that I wasn't because kids don't read books like that.

School was kinda annoying with how it would punish you for being anywhere outside of normal. Even if it was positive.

See- this is a problem. Illegal immigration means one thing, but people hear it and think of a family speaking spanish in the grocery store and assume them to be what 'illegal immigrants' are. People just ascribe anything vagely unknown to them as 'illegal immigrants' and want it gone not realizing that most of the time the people they are imagining are here legally. It's still racism but with a technically safe cover word, but many are hearing one thing and thinking another.

So when everyone is talking about illegal immigrants they could mean completely different things depending on who you talk to.

I'm dubious of the recycling claim. The partially cured resin is dissolved in some secret solvent. Usually when you dissolve something in a solvent, the intention isn't to recover the dissolved resin. They didn't really discuss the recovery process, leading me to think it's theoretically possible, but nobody will practically do it.

Still, dissolveable supports with a single resin mix is pretty cool.
