Hey, no problem; You just earned a bunch of free equipment and materials! You'll make a killing selling that shit second-hand to NASA.

Pyongyang Says It Will Send Support Troops to Ukraine Within a Month
I'm putting good money down that they either have mass surrenders, or they're just too malnourished to fight.
Possibly both.
Oh, oh! Or they refuse to come back from Russia, and that pisses off NK .

Linus Torvalds affirms expulsion of Russian maintainers
Reply in thread
No. Not fuck Russians as a blanket policy. The Russian government is full of corrupt and evil bastards, but it's certain that most Russians are the same as most other citizens; They just want to go about their business.
I'm in favor of blocking the Russian accounts, they're probably mostly state actors. The ones that aren't actively sabotaging the codebase are unfortunate causalities, but it's better than the alternative.

Mike Lindell officially loses all his lawyers in $5M 'Prove Mike Wrong' cyber challenge
Reply in thread
It was unclear if Lindell would retain new counsel in the case. As Foster pointed out, business entities cannot represent themselves in court.
lol not even if he wanted to (which would be very entertaining to watch, sadly)

Basically, it boils down to them trying to "compete" with steam by either bribing devs to release exclusively on their store, or straight up buying devs and not releasing (or removing) games on steam. It's a shitty way to do business, and I won't encourage it by patronizing them.
GoG and Humble don't have to resort to that kind of BS. Hell, even Microsoft and Sony are opening up more to each other and PC (often via steam, though Microsoft also uses their own store).
Epic is running in the wrong direction, and it's not-at-all for the high-ideal BS they spout about Steam being a monopoly (especially since it isn't, not by a long shot). It's naked self-interest, and it disgusts me.

Where the heck were you that there was a "dine-in" fee at a Subway? I've been to that restaurant in half a dozen states and never seen that.
Actually, I didn't think I've seen any restaurant charge for that, ever.
Also, wtf does that have to do with subscription services and auto renewals?

Elden Ring DLC launches to "Mixed" reviews as players bemoan difficulty, PC performance in Shadow of the Erdtree: "There's a big problem with balancing"
I never minded the difficulty. I knew what I was signing up for.
What I minded (and why I stopped playing Elden Ring only a few months after release after like 120 mostly-fun hours) was that they couldn't stop fucking with the balance. Some jackass would min-max some specific PvP build, and they'd nerf the shit out of it (even in PvE), then my semi-okay build (which used one part or another of the min-max build) would go to shit and I'd have to start over. This happened like 4 times and I just said "fuck it" until the game was old enough that they'd stop fucking with it.
lol, joke's on me, here we go again.

They're morally right and you're morally wrong. Why? Because they say so.
