This website is amazing! How have I never heard of this before?! Did you know that using glue will make your cheese extra stretchy? Who would have guessed it? This is my new favorite site.

If Trump’s conviction lands him in prison, the Secret Service goes too.
The current record for number of US presidental votes received while in prison is about 1,000,000. Eugene V. Debs is the record holder, and that election was in 1920. Trump just may beat him this year. There is no law that says you can't be president while in prison.

I just happen to eat a vegan diet because I travel a lot and refuse to pay people to do things to animals that I wouldn't feel morally comfortable doing myself. Maybe if I settle down somewhere, I would find a farm that allows me to personally verify the ethical treatment of the animals. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything, though. I'm in great shape, not deficient in anything, and am routinely assumed to be 10 years younger than I am.
From my experience, the people who think meat is required to be healthy usually have the worst diets and are addicted to eating the most low quality processed garbage meat available. It's never people in good shape that go on and on about how crucial meat is.

85% of Neuralink implant wires are already detached, says patient
Noland, himself, just said on the HardFork podcast 2 days ago that they are not detached. They shifted, and after a software upgrade and no follow-up surgery, they are working better than ever. There was a short period of time between when they shifted and the new software update that he had reduced control of his mouse.
Edit:
This is such a garbage journalist. They say that Noland said they detached in a WSJ article, and then they link an article that says nothing about this. I don't know if this is the same Popular Science that used to put out good journalism, but if so, then they really dropped the ball with joirnalist. I get that Elon has done some shitty stuff, but it does nobody any good to just blatantly lie about this. It is easily checked. Think twice before posting stuff from Popular Science.
OP, for the sake of the reputation of this community, you may want to adjust the post title with a misleading warning or something.

This is Fine Rule
Sorry ya'll, but if you are still shoveling these idiots money for most of your meals, then you personally are the problem. You should feel guilty every time you do it. You are hurting yourself. You are hurting your children. Tou are hurting your granchildren and future generations. You are hurting strangers. You are hurting everyone you care about. You are doing this all out of addiction and laziness. Not to mention the extreme torture that you are inflicting on the animals. It is time to grow up and take responsibility. You are not innocent because "other people do it too." You are guilty. Please admit this very clear fact to yourself and do better.

Hell yes, finally, someone on either side says the truth! How refreshing. It's great to have specific examples of a powerful dem that is willing to not bend over for genocide.

AI art steals from the poor and has no place in modern society
It also makes a way for the poor to be able to afford to get art to make comics and other things when they otherwise would have been unable to hire artists. Generative ai also allows poor people to write code they couldn't before because they couldn't afford the help. It also gives poor people the ability to brainstorm new ideas when they can't afford a team of consultants.
It helps the poor, just like search engines and the internet. There were people back in those days scared of change as well. Gen ai is a huge equalizer or wealth and power. The vast majority of people using Gen Ai are using it for things that they never would have considered being able to hire someone to do anyway.

American Airlines passengers were stuck on an unbearably hot Boeing jet for an hour while waiting to depart from Miami Airport before they had to switch planes as passengers became desperate for fresh
Boeing makes planes, they don't choose who stays in the planes they make. It is American Airlines that left people in the plane, not Boeing. Give credit where credit is due.

Biden plans to send $1bn arms shipment to Israel

Are you talking about the Trump that won't quit talking about how antisemitic Biden has been in the Gaza genocide?

Imagine seeing someone yell at a rapist in the middle of raping that they aren't raping viciously enough and then thinking that it would be good to send that guy in there instead. I agree, no rape would be best, but I'm pretty sure the victim in this case would prefer the current rapist over the one complaining about how the current rapist is being offensively gentle.

This whole thing of "you need to lie about the facts to make one side look way better than they are or else you are campaigning for the other side" thing needs to go. It just needs to go. It isn't fooling anyone, and it just makes everyone doing it come across as idiots. Own your stance, be honest about what we can all see, and try to explain why you feel like you do from base reality. I know you've been told it makes you a traitor or whatever, but it simply doesn't. It makes you come across as a genuine person, and it makes the things you say have more weight.

What's currently the 'smartest' language model?
For programming it is Sonnet 3.5, there is no remotely close 2nd place that I have tried or heard of, and I am always looking. I personally don't really have any interest in measuring them in other ways. But for coding, Sonnet 3.5 is in a distant lead. Abacus.ai is a nice way to try various models for cheap. Really, some sort of agent setup like mixture of agents that uses Claude and got and maybe some others may do better than Claude alone. Matthew Berman shows Mixture of Agents with local models beating gpt4o, so doing it with sonnet3.5 and others of the best closed models would probably be pretty great.

Let's rise the numbers even more...
Does 'Title' on the left have some meaning I don't know about, or was it just never changed from the chart template? Are these numbers supposed to be percentages?
