Do the people who say "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" ever consider Heroin?

Reply in thread

I know one person that managed to kick heroin about 10 years ago now. They are one of the most head strong people I know now, with an enormous amount of drive to continuously improve their own life (they have since started a family, got a career, and just purchased a home recently).

In their case, I would definitely say 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' holds true

Why do YOU think men commit more crime than women?

Reply in thread

The cultural reason was what I was thinking too.

At first, physical capability popped into my mind as well, however can a woman not steal a loaf of bread? Or grab a knife and stab someone, or grab a gun and pull the trigger?

Economically able to could also lead into the gender imbalance in executive positions.

However I would like to hear the person I replied to's reasoning instead of us guessing or putting answers in their mouth so to speak, as 'more capable of doing so' doesn't really lend much to the conversation.

Someone said I post an average of 6 posts a day. Where did they get that type of information? Not upset curious cause it's another way I can compliment others with facts about them.

Reply in thread

The math at 1103 posts (that's what is showing for me when looking at their profile right now) ÷ 602 days is only 1.83 posts per day.

However, eyeballing their account it does seem they average 6 posts a day if they are posting, with some days dragging that average up - for example they have a day with 15 posts

[SOLVED] Cannot open links from Summit

My version is showing latest on Play Store, and F-Droid is showing latest as 1.82.7. Where is everyone getting these newer updates from?

I might try and uninstall the Play Store install and go with the F-Droid one instead, see if that solves my issue

EDIT: Reinstalling with the F-Droid version 1.82.7 has solved my issue. I'll leave this post up incase someone else runs into the same problem. Hopefully one of our solutions solves it

HELP : Is [email protected] a legitimate Proton address or a potential phishing attempt?

I'm struggling to figure out the phishing attempt here?

You contacted support through an official channel, then got a reply answering your question, and now we think its a phishing attack?

I personally don't think that address looks suspicious either? Both coming from the same .zendesk, one is just using mail vs me. But as Proton uses .me everywhere, I don't think it's sus.

Am I missing something here?

The continuous improvement is what I remember the most! At least how I remember the internet of old, it was like a constant stream of something new, from random funny links of random sites, to big new major projects surfacing. It was cool

HELP : Is [email protected] a legitimate Proton address or a potential phishing attempt?

Reply in thread

Props to you for double and triple checking! If I was to put money on it, I would say its fine, and just a good chance that Proton haven't updated their website/articles yet.

If you mean you contacted Proton four days ago in regards to this, then yeah good move to verify. Would be very interested to hear their response here if you're willing to share when it happens.

Also, just to clarify, there were more emails outside of the one you screenshotted? And these replies had links? Were these replies making sense and actually answering questions?
