Steam Mods For Shared games
Is there a way to subscribe to steam mods for games I'm borrowing?
I'm part of a friend's steam family share where I can play their games when they aren't playing. I want to subscriber to steam mods for the game (mechwarrior) but I can't figure out how since I don't own the game.
Display full scroll bar with arrow buttons in applications?
I'm not finding anything about this with searches, and the Google AI is like the dumbest kid on the short bus, so I'm turning here.
I have the OS Application Style set to 'Oxygen' which supposedly displays a full No Bullshit scrollbar. With arrows and everything, like in the old days, so I can just click the button, and the fucking page will scroll.
This setting is not changing any applications' scroll bars, nor is any other style. I'm using Libre Writer for something more than 2 pages, and if I have to grab the invisible scroll bar to drag it up and down manually any longer, I am going to lose my goddamn mind. This has possibly already happened.
I've looked at every possible setting. There's nothing about how the scroll bar is displayed, and again, it's every app. So please, for the love of God, someone tell me how to force full scrollbars on installed applications.
Many questions from a new owner
How do you add non steam games back to your library?
Why doesn't it use steam cloud?
How do i use the normal steam interface? I hate big picture mode with a passion.
My OG LCD Steam deck Bluetooth is failing.
I got it super early during the launch and it works fine for everything else but recently the controllers won't connect and now the keyboard won't either. I took it apart at night to see if the wires were loose, but they weren't.
Guess it's only a handheld now, no more road redemption, stick fight etc....😭
Steam and … Button not working properl
Steam and … Button not working properly in gaming mode. The steam button does nothing at all and the … Button opens up a search window up top and starts making a repeated noise like making a selection.
Any fixes for this?
Has anyone tried putting Proton GE on their deck?
I was hoping to put battle.net on the deck and heard I had to do it through Proton. Just wanted to see if any of you had tried it out with any success. Cheers!
Woohoo! It Came!!!
Super excited! It came in yesterday and I spent most of the day learning the ins-and-and-outs of the deck while loading it up with games. I'm very impressed how good it feels in my hands, sturdy build but light.
Finally pulled the plug on upgrading my ssd.
For the longest time I resisted, but I snagged a 2 tb sabrent drive.
What did it for me is I needed a new thumbdrive, and instead of doing the smart thing and spending $30 for a random generic thumb drive, I instead decided that a small nvme enclosure would be a neat thing to have. So I've got the new drive coming from Amazon and a neat little enclosure coming from aliexpress https://aliexpress.us/item/3256805196761444.html To shove the original 512 deck drive into.
Also just got tired of the dance of "What do I need on the ssd for performance, and what will be fine on the SD card"
