Sulsul Simmers, MarviSims here! I recently started a new website called RetroSimsMods, where you can download new houses and (soon) objects for TS1 and TS2. With this little website, I just want to keep these awesome games alive and well. Feel free to take a look if that sounds fun! 😁

Project Pleasantview

I already posted this on Reddit but I feel like Lemmy deserves this.

I am currently working on an “Ultimate Pleasantview” that contains sims related to the Pleasantview sims from previous and future games, even spin-offs! I’m adding forgotten sims and extending the families are current sims.

I feel Pleasantview is very empty, obviously because of the time the game came out. But I’m aiming to add to it like many simmers have before me!

1920s CC

I'm new to this so I might be posting wrong I don't know lol. Anyways, I'm doing my own decades type of challenge and I'm desperate to find clothing cc for pretty much every age group that isn't adults that fits a 1920s theme (especially for male sims as it's especially hard to find). Pretty much every time I find something good It has a broken link or requires a mesh that I can't access because it was posted in 2008 or something. Even when I do find something I can download it's usually everdaywear or pajamas so I don't have a lot of period accurate clothes for other categories. I really like being historically accurate and I suck at making my own cc so if anyone can find something that would be super appreciated!

Also on the very rare (since this community is so small) chance that there is a cc creator reading, maybe you could make some clothes if you're interested.

TLDR: looking for 1920s cc for all age groups and clothing categories

Any single generation players here? What goals do you set for your sims?

I think I'm in the heavy minority because I really dislike the whole having children thing (maybe that's me projecting lol). I'd rather focus on my adult sims and usually adopt an older child and then age them up to a teenager if I want a new character. I like starting from scratch in different neighborhoods and stuff, but it's hard to stay engaged with one specific sim for very long. You can only get divorced so many times ya know?
