You ever just make a bunch of CC and the program crashes and won't reopen? Ugggh
So I like to make walls and floors for my game. I'm primarily a builder but I'm not very good at making meshes and recolors are cool but, time consuming for me. Plus Home Crafter makes floors and walls so freaking easy.
Well I had made 8 colors of stucco walls, then each one got a maxis match trim, the one where it looks like bricks on the corner. Then I did that trim in a light, maxis match/identical color, and I did it in a darker brown. So each color had a base stucco with no trim and 4 trim options.
I was play testing each color and doing screenshots so I could upload it to MTS later and realized my gray with the right side trim was darker than the rest of the gray. No big deal, I'll close the game, open home crafter, fix it and done. I launch home crafter and "this application has crashed."
Well shit. I was running linux updates in the background, let's restart the computer and try again. Same thing. Fine, I'll try different proton comparability layers. Nope. Fine, uninstall and reinstall. Nope. ๐ก๐ก๐ญ
I found on MTS someone made a "portable home crafter" so I used that. Opens right up! Ok cool back in business. Ohh but the portable part is, it doesn't sync your files. Crap. At that point my brain was fried and I couldn't think straight and I gave up.
I'm sure today I'll get it all figured out but, last night I was big mad! Anyways, thanks for reading my rant lol.
