Got this JVC TM-90PSN (which probably stands for 9" PAL/SECAM/NTSC) a few weeks ago. An extremely high-hour unit (the insides were basically charcoal black) with a lot of dried-up capacitors and corroded switches.
I gave it many good scrubs, replaced all of the out-of-spec caps and desoldered and polished up all of the switches. It works very well now. The tube is a little dim, but you can still use it!
I really like how it fits the PS2's aesthetic with all of those vent holes and 90° angles.

This the TV Light used to keep killing while under observation?
Jokes aside you have to mount this thing on your head like a VR HMD or risk permanently fucking up your neck?
I'm not mounting that on my neck, it's really heavy. JVC crammed three circuit boards, a multi-voltage transformer and a big speaker in there (and real light bulbs for all of those little indicator lights, none of that modern LED rubbish). It's absolutely insane to have all of this tech in such a small CRT.
What's also interesting is that the green cathode is still super-strong, but red and blue have roughly half of their power left. I had to turn green all the way down to get a good picture and I'm debating if I should use a CRT rejuvenator on this thing to see if there's a bit more power left in the other rays. Might fuck it up though...we'll see. :)
Beautiful!!
It does fit the PS2 perfectly!
