Cassandra Curse: Any INTJs out there who suffer because nobody believes you as you warn people / predict things?

Basically, my whole life is realizing things years before other people. I notice people are unable to connect the consequences they experience to their actions. If I tell them not to do something or blank will happen, they ignore me or do it anyways. If I warn about a supertrend in the world they do not believe me. Sometimes people think I'm crazy for saying things that become common knowledge years later.

It's a curse and it feels like my whole life is watching loved ones get into preventable train wrecks, completely oblivious to why it's happening.

When I was a teenager, my friends robbed a McDonald's.

They worked at the McDonald's and staged the robbery.

I found out about this after the fact when I went over to their house and one of my friends hit me in the face with a rolled up wad of $613.

I remember specifically being $613 because my friend then quipped "I bet you've never been hit in the face with $613 before"

I asked them where they got the money because that was a large amount of money for them.

They told me what they had done.

They then said that they were going to go out and start buying shit.

I immediately told them that they should sit on it for a few weeks. I told them that my reasoning for that is that if all of a sudden, immediately after a robbery, people that were involved in the robbery go out and start spending money that they shouldn't reasonably have, then that would make them look guilty.

They ignored me and went and spent the money at the mall.

McDonald's, being a multinational corporate conglomerate entity, had hired a private investigator to follow them for the next few days, just in case they were somehow responsible for the robbery.

They were all caught and convicted.

I'm not friends with them anymore.

You know. I have been on both sides of it and sometimes its that you just don't know exactly how it will develop. I believe a lot of the political crazyness of today is being driven by population vs resources with global warming driving it all to be worse every year. I knew things would get worse but not that we as a species would layer on another level of worse by doing practically all the things that would make it worse if that was our intention.

When I was in my 20's I was wrong more. As my pattern recognition skills developed, I was wrong less often. Now I sometimes know something is missing but given enough time, I can fill in the blanks.

Boy I can't say that. Given all the studying I could likely answer a general question at about my height at 20. Now granted some things you just have to experience to understand. It was not until well into my thirties that I really got why people hated nixon.
