Welcome Connor! We're happy to have you here.
![email protected] and ![email protected] are active every day and a fun place to start.
If Canadian news and stuff interests you at all, many folks go to ![email protected]
![email protected] is also active on my home server.
Thank you! I will check them out thanks for taking time to reply!!
Welcome!
Lemmy lacks a bit in the ability to help guide people to communities, but PieFed does much better in that regard. Even though you don't have an account on it, check out https://piefed.social/topics anyway to get some ideas of what you may want to join.
Thanks! I will make sure to check everything possible :D
What are some communities you like !!
I love to visit ![email protected] and ![email protected]. There are also a bunch of wholesome communities like ![email protected] and ![email protected], and the opposite of that like ![email protected] 😁. But you do you boo:-).
Welcome!
What kind of stuff are you into? There are a lot of cool communities so it's hard for me to pick one to recommend :)
I also recommend this guide (full context, I helped write parts of it): https://fedecan.ca/en/guide/threadiverse/finding-communities
Hi Connor! How are things in the future?
One thing that didn't change is hope
Welcome Connor!
If you ever need help on Lemmy, feel free to comment here or send me a message privately!
Lemmy moves a little slower than mainstream platforms, but it's not a bad thing! You can try exploring new communities from a variety of instances and see what you like.
If you have any interests or hobbies you feel like sharing, that might help people guide you to communities you'll want to participate in.
Cheers!
Thank you! We'll that is one thing I like about lemmy tbh, slowness is not always bad, at least I am not mindlessly scrolling hahaha, thanks for offering help 🙂↕️
Welcome, Connor! I've just been browsing all, I need to find communities as well so thanks for making this!
I hope you find some cool communities!! What do you expect to find communities about? Tell me about your interests.
Welcome
Browse all to find comms you like, and browse it different ways; top, hot, new, and especially scaled. Scaled it the best for finding niche stuff. It's like top, but it's calculated using the size of the comm too. So 10:100 is weighted as much as 100:1000.
sorry connor but I don't remember names and no faces so well, but welcome.
