One caveat, if I’ve known that person for a long time it takes a while to make their new name and/or pronouns an automatic thing. I might get it wrong, please correct me, I’m not trying to be a dick

We all make mistakes but I've found changing names and pronouns can be done surprisingly quickly actually! Honest mistakes are fine. And also far from malicious intent. Just try, really, and you'll get used to it in no time.

This is good, but also remind yourself to correct yourself, too. It'll make the learning much faster. If you get it wrong, use the new name in three sentences to yourself after using the wrong one.

That's why it's important to make sure you kill them until they are dead.

"Better dead than red" is another dumb take like that.

If you wanna die instead of having free healthcare then goodbye.

I mean. It takes me really a long time to consitantly recall a name for a face. I have a wierd memory where its really hard to memorize thing but once I do its like there forever or decades anyway if not used for that period.

I'm fuckin horrible at names. I can remember a face forever though.

once I had visited San Francisco and was walking along Chinatown and saw someone I knew from back home 2000 miles east. I instantly recognized them as someone knew, but they didn't recognize me. turns out they had family near me and I had seen them in passing while working retail.

it was such an unusual occurrence that I doubt either of us forgot to this day.

Depends. Knew someone for years as xyz but now they're abc. It took me... Longer than I care to admit to change my brain. It's like muscle memory, idk.

But I also think that is entirely beside the point of the comic.

You reached the end
