improbable outcome...
I was talking to my daughter about her sick uncle and probabilities and the goddamn worst thing happened. I saw a dice on the table so I picked it up to demonstrate an improbable outcome.
I called "im going to roll a six" then rolled a 6. Well, thats unlikely but its a one in six chance. Highly unlikely i could do it again...
I rolled at least 6 6's in a row. By the 5th I was convinced it was a loaded dice. I confirmed it is not a loaded dice on roll 7 or 8.
Fucking what the hell universe

It's trying to tell you that long odds will happen too in an infinite universe
I hope her uncle gets better
Rolling it the same way, holding it the same way each time, you've got much higher odds of rolling the same number than 1/6!
That's the explanation I think it's correct. Otherwise it's a 1 in like... 46.6k odds? Not impossible, but certainly is an odd time to hit a minor jackpot.
Missed opportunity. You could have bought a lottery ticket instead
It might not be too late. All 6s!!!
According to a probability calculator I just used, six dice getting a 6 is a .002143347 % probability. Nice!
A die.
"Dice" is plural.
Just don't do that with the uncle.
That was beautiful. 🥲
Typical. You always have luck when you don't want it!
