Sen. Rick Scott, what a shocker.

I noticed yesterday all the public broadcast local news channels also started broadcasting stories about how out of control the debt is, just in time for dems to take over after midterms so republicans can once against spend all their time saying we can’t afford healthcare or any other changes.

We can afford all that shit. We just have to have the balls to get billionaire's to pay the same taxes we do.

the healthcare one is pretty straight forward, cut out the for-profit insurance companies and go single-payer tax funded, cover everyone for just about everything. increased coverage at half the cost.

But remember, the billionaire class, the multi millionaire class, and their sycophants believe that you need a stick and carrot in the form of healthcare tied to work in order for people to want to work, they don’t believe people actually want to be useful and make things and increase their skills and improve their communities without being beaten down by their betters. Also they ignore that they themselves cut hours and skirt around regulations to deny healthcare in the work place anyway.

We can't afford domestic spending, but we also can't to afford NOT to spend $1.5T on the Pentagon (plus hundreds of billions more on NSA / DHS / FBI / etc).

It's an Oops, All Cops federal budget going forward, folks.

I mean, the “we can’t afford domestic spending” is also their way of transitioning domestic spending to privatize industries to enrich themselves and their buddies. Take lobby money from industries that want to control whatever industry, healthcare, surveillance, policing, mail/package delivery, you name it, then invest in those companies before the govt is taken out of the industry, or start a competitor yourself, and then profit when all the govt services are transitioned to private companies.

Curious to see how we never have a dime to spend on public school, but we've always got another million for vouchers to church-owned ones.

Oh hey, it also happens to be evangelical or catholic schools that favor the wealthy in their admissions

Even better...

Texas families have two more weeks to apply for the state's school voucher program. That's because of two new lawsuits that claim the state is excluding Islamic private schools from participating.

...

The state comptroller's office runs the voucher program. In January, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said the agency has the right to exclude schools from participating.

Just straight up bigotry as policy. The Texas special, but it’s everywhere these days.

And the lefties will spend the next two years campaigning for the right saying how the democrats never get anything done and the cycle of shit will go on and on.

That’s not the lefties, that’s paid/manufactured opposition pretending to be lefties. At this point all the lefties who said at least trump isn’t a corporate dem like Hillary or Kamala have shut up and don’t want to talk about it, after seeing what letting any old outsider shake things up really looks like.

Except they'll forget just like the every other ideologist purist.

Then we deserve the subjugation and abuse I suppose, if we aren’t capable of having long term memory and self advocacy longer than that of goldfish. And even goldfish have been shown to actually have long term memory, and are capable of being trained and recognizing various individuals.

Getting ready for Democrats to be in control, I see.

I keep waiting to see how Trump and company are going to steal or stop the election

Declare martial law when some Republican tries to shoot him again?

You think one of these gun nuts would have better aim.

Outgoing Rep. Thomas Massie and Sen. Rand Paul I think are the only Republican Congresspeople that are at least consistent in their Republican views, instead of tossing them aside whenever convenient for their party cult. Despite many of their positions being vile and bigoted, at least they will apply their principles evenly to both Republican and Democrat presidents.

The other 99% of Republicans in Congress are vile AND also stand for nothing, if it gets in the way of supporting their fascist project.

4

Sorry, I brain farted reading Rand Paul as Rick Scott. Nevermind...

2

Strangely also haulin’ Josh Hawley, though he is consistently awful.
