God fucking dammit.

I’m in a location I’ve never been before so I truly believed it.

There was a time when gooning was supply-side economics because this was how long it took for each nudey pic to load. Now it's demand-side because you spend your time finding a bro to share your jellyfin library with.

At one point that would have been considered pretty fast actually...

At one point computers managed to change the world...

I wonder how society will work to now go back to doing everything with paper and pencil, given how you can barely stop the machine from claiming that there are 5 R's in strarwrberry or that 1+1= sorry but you need to upgrade to our premium package in order to continue using your quota of tokens...

I mean obviously we here all use Arch btw Linux (yup, each and every one, no exceptions allowed, dontchaknow? 😜), but if e.g. your bank uses Windoze then when Microdick decides to replace their calculator with a SAS LLM app - and ban all alternative computation apps from their store (whatever its called) - then that will impact you as a customer?

Just like computers used to work fine offline, before MS claimed that it was outright mandatory to connect to the internet. LLMs today are simply a new round in the same old game.

I love this so much. Haven't seen an image load top to bottom in so long. Bring it back!

1 000 000$ idea, an app that helps fight internet addiction by loading all images and comments super slowly like that.

Even add it in an app to mimic dial-up speed once you've been doom scrolling for a certain amount of time.

Oh I grew up when that was still fast lol. But good one, assumed similar ... Well took me halfway then laughed.

Where is that guy who would tell you how in nineteen eighty eight the Undertaker would throw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummet sixteen feet through an announcer's table?

You reached the end
